MACHINE DAZZLE

MACHINE DAZZLE is a performance artist, costuming genius and founding member of the Pixie Harlots. He has made over 100 costumes for Taylor Mac and Taylor’s shows including the acclaimed Lily’s Revenge (HERE Arts Center).  He has made costumes for a cavalcade of downtown New York performers including Justin Bond, Dirty Martini and Julie Atlas Muz (including Muz’ I Am the Moon, You Are the Man on Me at PS 122).  He has presented fashion shows at SFMOMA and MoMA in New York.

As a solo artist he has performed at as a solo artist in myriad clubs and art spaces throughout New York.  As a member of the Pixie Harlots he has performed as part of Weimar New York, Justin Bond’s Lustre (PS 122), Justin Bond’s Christmas shows at Abrons Arts Center and countless other clubs and events in New York City.

ALASKA THUNDERFUCK 5000

Alaska Thunderfuck 5000 performs as part of the PUSSY FAGGOT! 3-year anniversary on (Good) Friday, April 6, 2012 at Public Assembly in Williamsburg, Brooklyn.

ALASKA THUNDERFUCK 5000 is a glamazonian princess from the planet Glamtr0n. Long ago, her glamazonian space ship crash landed somewhere in the Roswell desert. Royalty on her home planet, Alaska was devastated to find that the people of Earth did not accept her space dollars, her space cashiers checks, or even her space charge cards. Ever since, she has been using her unique gifts of glamour, beauty, and whatever else she can find to gain enough Twitter followers to repair her spaceship and return to her home planet once again.

THE DUMPSTA PLAYERS


The Dumpsta Players will appear as part of American PUSSY FAGGOT! Realness on Saturday, January 7, 2012 at Public Assembly in Williamsburg.

THE DUMPSTA PLAYERS are a themed interactive theatre experience that parodies society’s joys and ills in an irreverent and over-the-top style. Dumpsta was chosen as a name because the company recycles costumes, actors, characters, and comic bits month after month. Dumpsta also brings to mind the trashy nature of our performing — drag queens, genderfuck, and all walks of life come together and express joy, rage and general chaos through live mic and lipsynched sketches! Currently, The Dumpsta Players broadcast weekly over Public Access station PhillyCAM each week in Philadelphia on Comcast 66 and Verizon Fios 29/30 on Tues at Midnight and Fri & Sat at 11pm. The Dumpsta Players are part of a larger 501c3 non-profit, DP Arts Consortium, dedicated to creating a unique theatre, television and other media experience through performance and education while advancing gender equity and diversity.

Ricky Paul, founder Artistic Director of The Dumpsta Players, has been a fixture on the Philly Arts and Activist scenes for over 20 years. Theatre credits include: Painted Bride Arts Center “Our Living Legacy AIDS & Arts Festival”, Wilma Theatre, 1812 Productions, 14 productions with Barrymore Award winner writer/composer Michael Ogborn, Tom Wilson Weinberg, and founder and Artistic Director of The Dumpsta Players. Activism includes: ACT UP, Grassroot Queers, Safeguards Project, and fundraising including: Bryson Institute for LGTBQ Youth, William Way Center, WAVE, SMART, Action AIDS, The Mazzoni Center and Alex’s Lemonade Stand as DJ for BabyLovesDisco.
He has most recently been elected to The Board of Directors for PhillyCAM.

LEE KYLE


Lee Kyle (fka Splendora) appears as part of PUSSY FAGGOT! NOLA on Saturday, October 15 at Marginy Theatre and Allways Lounge.

LEE KYLE Lee Kyle grew up in the sticks of east Texas. A sissy by nature, he developed a keen understanding of the balance of hard and soft. As a young adult he attended theater classes at the University of Houston and later earned a BFA in painting and drawing at Sul Ross State University in Alpine, Texas near the Marfa Lights.  Once degreed he moved to Portland, Oregon to live the life of a wayward drunk genderqueer performance artist. He co-founded the explosive drag troupe “Sissyboy”, which ran for over three years and produced several independent films, and was documented in Katie Turinski’s film “Sissyboy: The Documentary.” Kyle also founded the performance trio “The Gender Fluids” performing on both coasts and in Texas. In 2007 he performed at the King Kong Klub and The White Trash Fast Food in Berlin.  Kyle lived in New York briefly in 2008 and did performances with “The Pixie Harlots,” Amber Martin, Judy, Ass Tricks, and Mr. Black.  Currently residing in New Orleans, Kyle hopes to be part of the artistic cultural renaissance that is happening in the post-Katrina revival. He is currently obsessed with Tennessee Williams.

Little Foot Jones is a gender bending and switching performance artist
most recently coming out of Atlanta. With a dark and corky mind Little
Foot Jones combines drag, dance, burlesque, and interpretive
performance to create an explosions of artistic energy on stage.

REGINA


Regina performs at the PUSSY FAGGOT! Queer Shame Revival as part of EveryBooty: N. 6th Pride on Saturday, June 25 at Public Assembly.

Regina is the lead singer of Light Fires, a Toronto based electronic dance project. Light Fires are prepping for the release of their first single. It will be available digitally and on 7″ Vinyl this July, and will be accompanied by the release of a video for the song ‘Ten Feet Tall’.  (You might also know Regina as Reg Vermue, the lead singer of the Toronto-based band Gentleman Reg.)

NEEDLES JONES

Needles Jones
Needles Jones regularly appears at PUSSY FAGGOT! and composed the PF anthem, “No, No Homo.”  Jones next appears at PUSSY FAGGOT! on Friday, February 10 at Public Assembly in Williamsburg, Brooklyn.  RSVP for reduced guest list here.

Needles Jones the self-proclaimed “drag pariah” of Philadelphia is a performance artist, musician and straight talking drag junkie who receiving his name one night whilst performing at the legendary Pyramid Club in New York City when he took to the stage with a needle still in his arm from shooting up backstage. He was the creator and host of the long-running Hard Liquor Theater in Philadelphia and despite the protestations of Lisa-Lisa, the host of the Thursday night drag shows at Bob and Barbara’s on South Street, Needles has been an occassional performer there.
